Community health issues like poverty, obesity and injuries cannot be tackled alone. Successful prevention is a result of collaborative, working partnerships with families, community organizations, schools, policy makers and people like you.

Building Healthier Futures

Health equity is achieved when every individual has the opportunity to reach their full, healthy potential regardless of socio-economic status, access to resources or social capital. The Community Health & Advocacy team is dedicated to advancing health equity, particularly for underserved children and families. To make a lasting impact on the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) that shape long-term health outcomes, the team collaborates closely with Children's providers and departments as well as key community partners.
