Administrative Fellowship Program

The Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, postgraduate opportunity designed for individuals interested in an administrative career in pediatric healthcare. Reporting to a senior executive, fellows will receive hands-on experience in both clinical and non-clinical areas of Children’s Nebraska through a combination of project work, rotations, observations and shadowing experiences.

Fellowship Objectives:

• The fellowship provides hands‑on administrative experience across a wide variety of disciplines.

• The fellow receives exposure to executive leadership throughout the organization.

• Participating in projects that align both with their individual interests and career goals and with the priorities and needs of Children’s Nebraska.

• Preparing the fellow for a leadership career in pediatric healthcare.

With the assistance of the senior executive team, fellows will have the autonomy to develop a set of project proposals, as well as gain insight into all aspects of healthcare administration by means of observation, committee meetings and hands-on experience.

How to Apply

Children's Nebraska is a member of the National Council on Administrative Fellowships (NCAF). As such, we adhere to the uniform application and offer dates and utilize the centralized application service (NAFCAS). Informational Webinar

Children’s Nebraska will host two virtual informational webinars in July and August 2026 (dates to be announced) to provide an overview of the Administrative Fellowship, outline application expectations and offer time for questions.
